In separate parts specifies metric dimensions of ‘traditional’ sizes of paper, and ISO sizes. Part 1 refers to sheet sizes of machine made writing and printing papers, ledger and account book papers, drawing cartridge papers and system boards normally held in stock by mills and merchants, and includes requirements for packaging and labelling. Part 2 defines the ISO system of A and B sizes, and states the basic principles for the derivation of the sizes.
